Job description

Role: Daily nanny for a 14 month old baby

Location: Pimlico, London

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 5.30pm (transitioning to 5 days a week after the first 6 months)

Start Date: January/February 2026

A family based in Pimlico are looking for an experienced nanny to care for their baby, who will be nine 14 months old when the role begins. Mum is preparing to return to work in January and is keen to find someone she can completely trust, making this a very special position for the right person. The family are hoping for a nanny who will become part of their lives for the long term and ideally stay with them for several years.

They are looking for a nanny who is confident caring for babies, with solid experience supporting daily routines, weaning, and age-appropriate play. A knowledge of the EYFS and how to weave this into a babys development will be highly valued. Paediatric First Aid training, Enhanced DBS and excellent references are essential, as is a warm and reliable approach. Spanish speaking would be a wonderful bonus, though it is not a requirement.

The position will start as a four day week, Monday to Thursday from 8.30am until 5.30pm, while mum eases back into work. From June / July onwards, the role will become Monday to Friday.

There is no need for a driver and no travel is required at this stage, though a willingness to accompany the family on trips in the future would be an advantage.
