About the role:
As part of the Delegated Authority Audit & Assurance team the role is to provideunbiasedreasonable assurancethat Outsourced Service Providers (OSPs) arecomplyingwithcontractualandregulatoryrequirements, laws, and best practice.
The role includes organising and completing delegated authority oversight and control audits of Great Lakes OSPs which may cover Company Operations, Policy Sales and Underwriting, Claims Management, Product Governance, Compliance including Consumer Duty and Conduct Risk, Complaints Management, Finance, IT and other areas from a regulatory and contractual perspective.
The role will include audit preparation, on-site fieldwork, testing, drafting reports and tracking and analysis of audit findings. The aim is to assess the adequacy of systems and controls and adherence to agreed procedures in order to minimise the risk and exposure to Great Lakes and its policyholders.
Work will be carried out at various locations predominantly throughout the UK and the EU.

Regulatory & Conduct Requirements:
Over the coming years, the branch will transition to a third country branch to continue to operate post Brexit. Therefore, in addition to the responsibilities set out above, the role/function will also become responsible for:
