You’ll be instrumental in driving high standards across delegated underwriting arrangements while gaining exposure to a wide network of Coverholders and TPAs.

This role combines autonomy with influence, allowing you to own audits from start to finish, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With flexible hybrid working and a supportive leadership team, this is a brilliant chance to develop in a key function that values continuous improvement and proactive governance.

Key responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct audits of Coverholders and third-party administrators, reviewing governance, controls and operational effectiveness
• Lead underwriting, claims and complaints file reviews including call listening to assess customer outcomes
• Produce audit reports with clear remediation plans and risk ratings, escalating material issues where required
• Maintain an effective audit schedule aligned with risk appetite and partner performance
• Contribute to governance forums and partner reviews with audit insights and trend analysis
• Build relationships across the business and externally, supporting audit readiness and improvements

What you’ll need:
• Strong insurance background with at least 3 years’ experience in delegated authority, audit, compliance or governance
• Understanding of Coverholder and TPA oversight and control requirements
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence and deliver insights to a variety of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and report writing capability
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland
