As a Senior Sales Executive (ERP-Focused), you will serve as a trusted adviser to customers, driving long-term strategic direction and cultivating C-level engagements. You will primarily promote Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, positioning its full ERP capabilities to convert prospects into loyal customers. This role requires strong business development expertise, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for delivering digital transformation through ERP solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven record of selling ERP or comparable cloud-based solutions to strategic accounts, meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Skilled in constructing compelling business cases and negotiating terms and contracts with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (preferred), or equivalent demonstrable experience in technology-related sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or other comparable ERP platforms is highly advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve defined annual sales plans in line with company objectives and personal targets.
  • Identify new opportunities and drive revenue by positioning D365 F&O ERP solutions.

Business Development

  • Broaden the company’s presence among new-logo customers and existing accounts.
  • Take part in marketing events, strategic account-planning sessions, and other lead-generation activities.

Sales Process Management

  • Oversee the full sales cycle: from initial planning and deal negotiation to contract finalisation.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing within company guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity tracking in the internal system.

Client & Partner Management

  • Cultivate relationships with clients and partners; escalate issues to the Sales Director when necessary.
  • Align client objectives with the organisation’s ERP solutions, ensuring a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on product developments and relevant industry trends.

Administration & Reporting

  • Record all documentation, communications, and contracts in internal systems.
  • Provide periodic pipeline forecasts and other metrics to support operational planning.

Personal Development

  • Stay current with market changes, Microsoft D365 F&O updates, and ERP best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical/delivery teams to remain knowledgeable about new features that meet evolving client requirements.
  • Partner effectively with colleagues and leadership across different regions, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Share insights, success stories, and best practices that elevate overall team performance.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid passport and the right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%) across the UK for client or partner engagements.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional face-to-face client meetings and internal sessions.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to shape cutting-edge digital transformation projects at a leading Microsoft partner.
  • A collaborative culture that values professional development, innovation, and teamwork.
  • The chance to make a tangible impact on clients’ ERP strategies while advancing your own career.

Location: UK (WFH plus up to 25% travel)
