MS Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect with extensive experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, proven experience in end-to-end implementations, and a strong understanding of core processes and procedures, as well as interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. The candidate should have a history of consultancy experience, engaging with clients, managing onshore consultants, and working with both onshore and offshore development teams. Additionally, the role involves presales activities related to Dynamics F&O and the broader Microsoft platform, contributing to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff.

This position is central to delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions at KPMG, offering an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business area within a leading global Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
• Participate in full end-to-end implementations and all project phases
• Engage with D365FO interfaces and integrations
• Develop creative solutions for complex problems
• Champion both technical and functional best practices within Finance
• Possess an exceptional understanding of Dynamics 365 capabilities
• Collaborate globally to enhance Dynamics 365 functionalities, creating unique selling points and assets for KPMG
• Ensure pre-sales engagements are meticulously delivered
• Identify training needs and coach team members
• Deliver consultancy following KPMG methodologies
• Exceed customer expectations in business knowledge and skills

Requirements: Qualifications and Skills

• Experience as a Solution Architect in Dynamics 365
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations
• Proficiency in out-of-the-box and custom solutions in Dynamics 365
• Excellent consulting and presentation skills
• Ability to lead engagements and present to C-suite
• Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 technical capabilities, with relevant certifications
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes: GL, AP, AR, Enterprise Structures, reporting
• Beneficial knowledge in Manufacturing, HR, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Certifications like TOGAF or Zachman Framework are a plus
• Understanding of Azure and cloud technologies
• Broad knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Power Platform, and BI tools
• Skills in Business Requirements Analysis and process mapping
