D365 F&O Security & Environments Consultant

Location: Liverpool (2 days on-site per week)

End User - FMCG / Consumer Goods

About the Role

We are working with a long-standing client in the Food & Beverage sector, based in Liverpool, who recently completed their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. They are seeking a hands-on F&O Security & Environments Specialist to join their team and ensure their D365 platform is secure, stable, and scalable.

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known FMCG company and help shape their ERP system's future.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Security Management: Design, implement, and maintain security roles, duties, and privileges in D365 F&O.
• Environment Oversight: Manage multiple environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod), ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruptions.
• Access Governance: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper user access management.
• Compliance & Audit: Support audits by ensuring security configurations meet standards.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, functional leads, and external partners for environment stability.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare documentation and train internal teams.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in D365 F&O security and environment management.
• Strong knowledge of role-based security models and lifecycle services (LCS).
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business users.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a hybrid setting.
