D365 F&O Functional Consultant – Master Planning

Location: UK remote

Our client, a leading manufacturing end user, is seeking a D365 F&O Functional Consultant with expertise in the Master Planning Module and core D365 Supply Chain modules. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to work effectively remotely.

This is a fully remote role requiring some security clearance. The position is outside IR35, offering a daily rate of £550-£600.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Deep understanding of supply chain planning business and system processes (demand to plan).
• Subject matter expertise in D365 F&O Master Planning and configuration.
• Experience in gathering functional requirements and supporting business analysis.
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations and complex rollouts in multilingual environments.
• Desirable: Experience with MES systems and advanced planning systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Configure, execute, and monitor the D365 F&O Master Planning Module, troubleshooting planning processes.
• Utilize expertise in ERP supply chain modules such as inventory management, product and process engineering, and manufacturing (discrete and/or process).
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, create functional design documents, and support go-lives.
• Conduct user training and UAT.
• Interface with scheduling, mid- and long-term planning systems, and ERP subsystem integrations.
