Job summary

JLA Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain implementation for a retail client in Greater London. You will represent the business, work with the SI, and drive the programme forward with hands-on involvement.

You will own the day-to-day delivery, maintain the project plan and RAID log, and ensure milestones, dependencies and governance are followed while coordinating the delivery across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain implementations.
• Experience working client-side with a systems integrator.
• Proven ownership of complex ERP implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business owner and main point of contact between the business and the SI.
• Manage day-to-day delivery and ensure the solution is delivered smoothly.
• Maintain the project plan, milestones, dependencies and RAID log.
• Track delivery against requirements, scope and budget.
• Coordinate stakeholders, technical teams and third parties.
• Identify risks and blockers, escalate where needed.
• Support testing, data migration and go-live planning, and provide progress reporting to senior stakeholders.

Job description

Contract: 6 months

The Opportunity

A retail organisation is moving from a legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX platform to Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.

The requirements have already been established and an implementation partner is in place. They now need an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to represent the business, work closely with the SI and keep the programme moving in the right direction.

The Role

Acting as the link between the internal business teams and the implementation partner, you will provide day-to-day ownership of the project and ensure the solution is delivered smoothly.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage entirely from a distance. You will need to get into the detail, resolve issues and take responsibility for driving progress.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the D365 Finance and Supply Chain implementation
• Act as the main point of contact between the business and the SI
• Maintain the project plan, milestones, dependencies and RAID log
• Track delivery against the agreed requirements, scope and budget
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams and third parties
• Challenge the SI constructively and hold them accountable for delivery
• Identify risks, remove blockers and escalates issues where required
• Support testing, data migration, business readiness and go-live planning
• Provide clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience managing a Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain implementation
• Experience working client-side alongside a systems integrator
• Proven ownership of complex ERP implementation projects
• Strong stakeholder and third-party supplier management skills
• Experience supporting testing, data migration and go-live activities
• Comfortable working at both programme level and in the delivery detail
• Pragmatic, proactive and willing to roll up your sleeves
• Experience migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX to D365
• Understanding of finance and supply chain processes within a multi-site business
