Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic consultant who will nurture needs and deliver Microsoft Business Applications solutions for existing and prospective clients. Working with the Business Analysis practice and client teams to design, build, oversee, and implement solutions using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 customer engagement first-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Solutions: Architect and deliver large-scale Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions, with a focus on the Customer Service module (and ideally other CE modules as needed).
• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership and expertise in building solutions using Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Dataverse platform.
• Agile Collaboration: Work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, collaborating closely with other Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and delivery teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
• Client Engagement: Engage with the client (a UK Central Government Department) to understand requirements, translating them into scalable, high-performance Dynamics 365 solutions that meet business needs.
• Integration Design: Design and oversee integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and external systems (including Azure services and other enterprise platforms) to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Leadership in Best Practices: Lead technical discussions and solution review sessions, contributing to and enforcing best practices in solution architecture and implementation.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to security, governance, and data protection standards, especially pertinent to public sector requirements.
• Dynamics 365 CE Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE, particularly the Customer Service module, and a deep understanding of its capabilities and configuration.
• Enterprise Implementation Experience: Proven track record in delivering large-scale, enterprise Dynamics 365 CE implementations, including end-to-end project involvement from design to deployment.
• Power Platform Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Dataverse, with the ability to leverage these technologies for complex business solutions.
• Architectural Skills: Ability to design complex, scalable, and high-performance solutions, balancing immediate requirements with long-term maintainability and growth.
• SAFe / Agile Methodology: Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment (or similar Agile frameworks), with an understanding of Agile planning, sprints, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging UK public sector clients or similar high-profile stakeholders.
• Azure Integration Knowledge: Working knowledge of Azure services relevant to Dynamics 365 integration (such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management) and experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Additional Dynamics Modules: Experience with other Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Sales, Field Service) and the ability to integrate or align these with Customer Service solutions.
• Governance & ALM: Familiarity with Power Platform governance, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and DevOps best practices to ensure maintainable and well-governed deployments.
• Government Standards: Knowledge of UK government frameworks and compliance standards, including security requirements and data protection regulations relevant to central government projects.

Location & Working Arrangements

• Hybrid Working: This role is based in the UK with a hybrid working arrangement. The candidate should be flexible to work remotely and be on-site as required for key client engagements or team collaboration.

Additional Information

• Experience Over Certification: No mandatory certifications are required. However, candidates must demonstrate a history of contributing to multiple large Dynamics 365 CE projects, showcasing their practical expertise.
• Team Collaboration: The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment, closely partnering with other Solution Architects and Technical Architects. This environment values knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and a cohesive approach to solution delivery.
