Columbus is seeking a D365 CE Consultant to deliver technical and functional CE solutions from a home-based role with travel to client sites or Columbus offices as required. The role involves hands-on plugin/C#/JavaScript work and Power Platform, with a focus on right-first-time delivery and customer success.

You will work within a global consultancy, enjoying flexibility around travel, and opportunities to develop as a Trusted Advisor while advancing CE capabilities for diverse clients.

• Experience delivering technical/functional CE solutions in Dynamics CRM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Hands-on with plugin development, C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform.
• Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for client-site travel.

Job Title: D365 CE / CRM Techno-Functional

Location: Home-based with travel to client site or Columbus offices as required

Salary: Negotiable (We aim to improve your current package)

Bonus: Yes

Holiday: 25 Days, Plus Bank Holidays (Increasing with Service),

Hours: Full time (36.5 hpw)

Travel/Expenses: A car is required for travel to client sites - expensed at 55p per mile from home address (excluding travel to any Columbus Office within 35mi)

The role of Techno-Functional D365 CE Consultant

Deliver excellence in technical/functional solution delivery based on high level designs aligned to customer requirements

Take a key delivery role in project implementations, working with functional consultancy colleagues in Technical solution Design

Deliver right first-time technical solutions, based on industry best practice.

Contribute to Design/Build sprints as a valued member of a dedicated project team, assisting colleagues and supporting your colleagues through delivery.

Utilise your attention to detail in producing comprehensive technical designs and solutions for Customer Engagement solutions.

Inspire and enable customers through the occasional delivery of technical training courses to meet the specific requirements of the Customer.

Travel and Hybrid Working

We have an environment that gives you the flexibility to achieve an effective work‑life balance for you and your family, whether you want to work from home or at one of our luxury Cubo offices around the UK.

We continue to offer our customers onsite consultancy time if requested, so flexibility around travel and overnight stays is expected, depending on the project requirements. Onsite time is planned ahead of time, within 2-week blocks, so you know well in advance where you will be working.

We encourage those in customer-facing roles to aim to come into the office at least once a month, and also for team meetings and client meetings; however, you can work from Nottingham HQ or any Cubo office regularly if you prefer, whichever suits you.

About you (The Essentials)

• An enthusiasm and aptitude for continuously improving our delivery of technical solutions within CE

• A passion for business problem solving and technical excellence, and Agentic AI

• Partner experience, commercially astute and able to identify and support potential opportunities

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage risks and scope, working face to face with stakeholders

• Committed to delivering excellence to our customers and to manage quality within their own team

• Highly experienced D365 versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM

• Ideally we will need someone who is hands‑on with plugin, C# and JavaScript coding, and power platform.

• Full driver's licence and access to a vehicle

• Curious, looking to challenge the status quo and improve

• Collaborates well with both internal and external colleagues

• Committed to personal development and becoming a Trusted Advisor in your field.
