D&B Senior Pre Construction Manager

Opportunity for a Pre Construction Manager with Design & Build experience to join a multimillion-pound Tier 1 Fit Out contractor and their fast-growing team.

About the role of D&B Senior Pre Construction Manager

You will be working for a reputable, multi-million-pound Tier 1 Fit Out contractor, based in Central London, on their Design & Build team, currently consisting of 25 people and still growing. The business aims for £300m turnover by 2025, with the Design & Build team alone set to achieve £30m this year, with continual growth.

We are looking for someone with Pre Construction experience, team management skills, and the ability to handle a busy workload. Prior specific background in Pre Construction is not mandatory.

Responsibilities for D&B Senior Pre Construction Manager

1. Develop project execution strategies, timelines & budgets
2. Work with clients to define project goals & ensure alignment
3. Collaborate with Estimators & Quantity Surveyors to assess design-related costs
4. Lead preparation of tender documentation for subcontractors & suppliers
5. Evaluate bids & negotiate with subcontractors
6. Serve as primary contact for clients during pre-construction
7. Manage expectations & maintain strong relationships
8. Lead the Pre-Construction team
9. Assign tasks & monitor performance
10. Mentor junior staff & foster a collaborative team environment

Requirements for D&B Senior Pre Construction Manager

1. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field
2. 15+ years of experience in Construction
3. Proven experience in Design & Build projects
4. Strong leadership & team management skills
5. Excellent communication & negotiation skills
6. Strong problem-solving skills & proactive mindset
