Join a leading NHS Foundation Trust as a Cytology professional, where you will play a key role in cervical screening within the Cytology laboratory. You'll be responsible for screening and reviewing samples, ensuring high standards as mandated by the NHSCSP. Your role will include hands-on laboratory work, quality assurance participation, and ongoing training.
It is essential that you hold the NHSCSP Certificate of Competence for this role and can demonstrate recent experience in NHSCSP Cervical Screening.
To participate in the day-to-day cervical screening workload of the Cytology laboratory.
To primary screen and rapid pre-view sufficient number of cervical smears per annum to achieve minimum target set by National Health Service Cervical Screening Programme (NHSCSP).
To undertake history checking of NHSCSP request forms.
To undertake manual reporting using the laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
To participate in non-gynae preparation.
