Job summary

The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CYPMH Practitioner to assess needs, plan care with young people and families, and deliver evidence-based interventions within CAMHS.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, applying THRIVE principles to support children who self-harm and those with complex mental health needs, ensuring person-centred care and robust reviews of progress.

Qualifications

• Registered professionals with CAMHS experience.
• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health needs of children, young people and families.
• Contribute to planning based on negotiated goals and evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver profession-specific mental health interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate or participate in reviews of progress using agreed measures.
• Involve families and carers throughout care.
• Support THRIVE transformation within the service.
