Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is offering a CYP-PT CBT Recruit to Train Trainee role. You would join one of the community MHST teams, based in multiple locations across the county, delivering CBT principles and practice under supervision.

The post requires you to base trainees in a team and participate in training days, while maintaining a training caseload and completing course assignments with the education provider.

Job description

Main duties of the job You would join one of the community MHST teams, a collection of countywide specialist teams, based in 3 different locations across the County, which offer a range of therapeutic interventions. We will endeavour to base trainees in their preferred team. You would work closely with MHST clinicians and managers to deliver CYP-PT principles and practice within the team, while providing specific interventions in your therapeutic modality of training. This intensive training post will equip the post-holder to provide interventions for children, young people or families using the core principles of the CYP Psychological Training Programme and consistent with the evidence base in the area of CBT. The post-holder will work in the service, for at least 2.5 days of the week using the newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme or undertaking self-study days for the remaining days, as required by the education provider. The post holder will hold an appropriate training case load and complete the necessary assignments to meet the course requirements.
