Job summary

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a CYP Programme Officer to lead and manage casual advocates and instructors, delivering Fire Cadets, Phoenix and school engagement activities, in coordination with the Education Manager to shape inspiring offers for young people across the region.

You will help ensure programmes are engaging, inclusive, safe and aligned with national best practice, with a focus on safeguarding and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or coordinating education, youth or community programmes.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Strong organisational, communication and relationship building skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and delivering high-quality services.
• The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
