We are seeking 3 enthusiastic and energetic Learning Support Assistants to join our school team. The key duties include:

  1. Planning, preparing, and delivering teaching activities to individuals, groups, and classes, adapting as necessary under the supervision of a teacher.
  2. Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils' development, progress, and attainment.
  3. Liaising with staff and professionals, providing information about pupils as appropriate.
  4. Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and learning needs, including those with additional learning needs or from non-English speaking backgrounds.
  5. Supporting pupils' behaviour and social skills, and supporting more able and talented pupils.
  6. Covering PPA and short-term absences when required.
  7. Engaging with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and achievement.

Start date: September 2025

Grades and Hours:

  • Position 1: 27.5 hours/week, temporary for 2 terms, SCP 7 (£16,629 pro-rata)
  • Position 2: 27.5 hours/week, temporary for 1 year, SCP 7 (£16,629 pro-rata)
  • Position 3: 11 hours/week, temporary for 1 year, SCP 7 (£6,651 pro-rata)
