Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Cylindrical Grinder to join a manufacturing team. You will rework components, perform cylindrical grinding, read drawings and ensure parts meet strict tolerances.

The role is a day shift Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-12pm with overtime after 39 hours at time-and-a-half. An hourly rate of £15.85-£17.35 is offered plus 25 days holiday and 8 bank holidays.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in grinding/manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills.

CYLINDRICAL GRINDER

We are recruiting for an experienced cylindrical grinder to work for our client who are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A GRINDER

• Rework/Manufacture of components and working to drawings
• Cylindrical Grinding
• Operating machinery such as polishing and grinding equipment
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from workpieces
• Reading technical drawings.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Grinding and manufacturing background
• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS

You will work the day shift:

• Monday - Thursday 7am- 4pm
• Friday 7am-12pm

THE PAY

• You will earn an hourly rate of £15.85 -£17.35 per hour.
• Overtime paid at x 1.5 after 39 hours
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
