We’re looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Cyclical Maintenance Lead to take ownership of our green infrastructure maintenance programme. This role goes beyond general highways knowledge – it requires a deep understanding of horticulture, biodiversity, and countryside regulations to ensure our natural assets are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build on existing asset data to create a comprehensive green infrastructure database.
  • Develop and implement cyclical maintenance regimes tailored to different asset types.
  • Use Aurora to schedule, monitor, and manage planned works.
  • Apply strong horticultural knowledge to ensure maintenance aligns with biodiversity goals and countryside regulations.
  • Balance green infrastructure needs with highways safety and operational requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify species, seasonal needs, and appropriate interventions.
