Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Spalding is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a cycleway scheme on an initial 6-month contract. You will set out works, check levels and dimensions, and work from drawings to drive delivery.

The role requires civils/highways cycleway experience, strong surveying and reading of drawings, CSCS and relevant site certifications, and clear communication to keep the project on time and to quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• CSCS and relevant site certifications.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Setting out cycleway and associated civil engineering works.
• Checking levels, lines and dimensions.
• Working from construction drawings and specifications.
• Undertaking quality control and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaising with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider engineering team.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
