Your new company

Top Federal Organization, which is an independent statutory agency to support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a substantial and permanent disability and their children and carer(s). Looking for a long-term contractor to join the team that identifies key security risks and ensures the department can detect, mitigate, and withstand cyber threats.

Your new role

The role involves managing projects that impact the Department's strategic and operational goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting security risk analysis of internal systems.
  • Implementing risk management practices aligned with MITRE Att&ck, NIST, ISO 31000 / 27001, and PSPF.
  • Creating security documentation like System Security Plans and Incident Response Plans.
  • Developing Authority to Operate artefacts and managing security risks.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance or related cyber security field.
  • Experience creating security documentation per Information Security Manual.
  • Skilled in security risk analysis of ICT systems, assessing threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts.
  • Mandatory: Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance.
