The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing robust security measures.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.
  • Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.
  • Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.
  • Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.
  • Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.
  • Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.
  • Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
  • Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
  • Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).
  • Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT Managers, the Helpdesk, and other areas of IT.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, being able to decipher sometimes complex information, analyse and report on for different audiences.
  • Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
