Job summary

Visa is strengthening its cybersecurity team to safeguard electronic payments across multiple environments. The role focuses on mergers and acquisitions cybersecurity integration, translating complex security needs into business terms, and driving secure cloud adoption.

With a hybrid work model, you will partner with IT and business units to embed security into all technologies and processes, delivering measurable risk reduction and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Programming experience in Python.
• Experience deploying secure infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in the development of mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Enhance the security posture of the entity hosted in public cloud or on-prem environment.
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Collaborate with IT and other business units to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of technology and operations.
• Develop the infrastructure and platform to automate vulnerability management and security reporting.

With the Security Team you will:

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in the development of mitigation strategies

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 3 or more years experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Programming experience (Python)
• 5 or more years of work experience in Cloud security
• Experience with deploying secure infrastructure into cloud environments
• Strong understanding of network, application, and system security
• AWS Security Specialty certification
• Technical experience with programming, technology, infrastructure, and security
• Experience in deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience in securing Kubernetes services
• Extensive knowledge in OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25
