Job summary

Visa seeks a cybersecurity professional to join its merger and acquisitions-focused security team in the UK. You will analyze threats, shape security policies, and strengthen cloud and on-prem security postures while translating technical risks into clear business-friendly terms.

You will collaborate across IT and business units to embed security by design, deploy automated vulnerability management, and contribute to security reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience, 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 3+ years experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Programming experience (Python)
• 5+ years of work experience in Cloud security
• Experience with deploying secure infrastructure into cloud environments
• Strong understanding of network, application, and system security
• AWS Security Specialty certification
• Technical experience with programming, technology, infrastructure, and security
• Experience in deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience in securing Kubernetes services
• Extensive knowledge in OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in the development of mitigation strategies
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Enhance the security posture of the entity hosted in public cloud or on-prem environment
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Collaborate with IT and other business units to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of technology and operations
• Develop the infrastructure and platform to automate vulnerability management and security reporting.

With the Security Team you will:
