Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Cybersecurity Delivery Lead to drive strategic cyber initiatives across Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Identity Authentication and Authorization, Security Operations and Data Protection. This is a high‑impact delivery role leading complex, visible projects across global tech and business teams.

The candidate will bring strong project delivery discipline, cybersecurity awareness and stakeholder management in a financial services

Qualifications

At least 10 years of overall experience in Financial Services, incl. 5 years leading high‑visibility technology projects.
Cybersecurity project management across IAM (PAM, IGA, IAA), Data Protection, Security Operations.
Experience in matrixed organizations and stakeholder management.
Ability to analyze data and guide decisions with metrics and reporting.
PMP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead global teams of technical and non‑technical staff to drive cybersecurity projects.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define benefits and outcomes and ensure success.
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies for on‑time delivery.
Develop project schedules with effort estimates and task sequences and ensure adherence.
Lead resolution of conflicts or escalations in support of delivery.
Create and submit project status reports per guidelines.
Maintain project artifact repository and ensure quality and process adherence.
Develop project charters and communication plans and engage stakeholders.
Facilitate cross‑functional engagement to resolve complex problems.
Define scope and ensure alignment to objectives and changes with governance.
