CyberSecurity Business Development Manager (Microsoft Azure)
- A remote role with occasional trips to the office or client sites
- 4+ Years of cyber & cloud sales and business development experience
- Strong CyberSecurity / Cloud sales and technical expertise
This role is hybrid, requiring presence in the office and client visits. Candidates must reside in the UK and be able to travel to Maidenhead and Greater London.
Compensation: £60-80K basic + car allowance + commission + benefits, with an OTE twice the basic salary.
Main purpose of the role:
- Acquire new clients and develop a systematic, sustainable client acquisition strategy.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) – ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
Reports to the Sales CRO.
Required minimum education and experience:
- 4+ Years of CyberSecurity and Cloud sales and business development experience in the UK and/or European markets
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Key performance areas:
- Identify new logo business opportunities
- Acquire and manage new clients post-acquisition
- Build and maintain external relationships
- Self-manage and contribute to organizational growth
Technical knowledge / competencies:
- Strong sales and technical skills
- Knowledge of sales processes and report writing
- Understanding of industry and market, especially around Microsoft Azure / Sentinel managed services in the UK and Europe
Description of key performance areas:
Identify new logo business opportunity:
- Analyze current client profiles based on profitability and growth potential
- Manage client acquisition costs (CAC)
- Evaluate potential opportunities
Acquire new clients:
- Maintain a network of cybersecurity partners
- Engage with clients to understand their needs
- Determine acquisition strategies based on CAC and market trends
- Calculate and optimize client lifetime value
Post-acquisition management:
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Account Management and Pre-Sales
- Provide quality information to support client management
External relationship building and maintenance:
- Promote the company as a preferred partner
- Respond to external inquiries
- Attend conferences and proactively network
Self-management and organizational development:
- Set personal development goals
- Maintain professional and culturally appropriate behavior
- Share best practices and participate in learning opportunities
