Job Title: Cybersecurity Business Analyst
Location: Sheffield (3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Banking Client Experience Required
Responsibilities:
- Elucidate and document requirements, map access-management processes, conduct gap analysis, and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively to align Security, DevOps, and business teams, with a data-driven approach to analyze IAM logs and assess risks.
- Understand IAM constructs across cloud platforms: AWS (users, roles, policies, permission boundaries), Azure (Azure AD, RBAC, PIM), GCP (principals, roles, policy bindings), Alibaba Cloud (RAM users, groups, roles, policies), and Kubernetes RBAC (roles, bindings).
- Identify gaps and over-privileged accounts in SaaS identity management, including SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth/OIDC), SCIM provisioning, and entitlement workflows, to recommend least-privilege controls across multi-cloud and SaaS environments.
Cloud-Specific IAM Knowledge (Required):
- AWS IAM: In-depth understanding of IAM users, groups, roles, policies, permission boundaries, service-linked roles, AWS Organizations, and reviewing IAM policies for least privilege.
- Azure AD: Knowledge of users, groups, applications, service principals, managed identities, Conditional Access, and PIM.
- GCP IAM: Understanding of principals, roles, service account keys, and organization policies; experience reviewing IAM bindings.
- Kubernetes RBAC: Familiarity with roles, bindings, and integration with cloud IAM services.
SaaS Application Identity Management:
- Experience with SSO protocols, identity providers, SCIM provisioning, and user lifecycle management for SaaS applications like Office 365.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar, focused on IT security, governance, or IAM.
- Hands-on experience with IAM processes in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Proficiency with cloud consoles, CLIs, and reviewing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for IAM issues.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
