A leading company in specialty insurance is seeking an Underwriter to join their team in Manchester. The role involves managing a portfolio, guiding junior staff, and ensuring profitable trading growth. Candidates should have strong underwriting knowledge and local market understanding, with a preference for those holding a Dip CII/ACII qualification.

We are currently looking for a Underwriter to be based in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham or Glasgow on a full-time basis, reporting into the Cyber Underwriting Manager.
As an Underwriter, you will achieve and maintain a profitable, well balanced and growing portfolio with allocated intermediaries and customers to assist in meeting long term trading objectives of the Company. You will also provide guidance to less experienced underwriting staff.
