Police Digital Service seeks an NMC Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist for a permanent full-time role in a hybrid setting based in Wigan. You will join the Threat Intelligence team and lead threat analysis, reporting, and risk mitigation for policing operations.

The role requires extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence, OSSI sources, malware/phishing analysis, and CREST RTIA certification. You will engage stakeholders and deliver actionable intelligence across policing domains.

Formación

• Knowledge of current threat landscape and TTPs.
• Experience using open-source intelligence collection and tooling.
• Experience in malware, phishing, and SIEM log analysis.
• Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence sources and feeds.
• Ability to translate cyber threats to diverse audiences in written and verbal form.
• 3+ years in analytical roles focusing on cyber threats.
• CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst certification.
• Experience in an intelligence environment and with risk reduction.
• Completed intelligence analysis courses (NIAT/RISC UK or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Provide expertise using analytical products to support mitigation at tactical and operational levels.
• Analyze advanced persistent threats, and the TTPs used by attackers.
• Conduct tactical/operational analysis to identify gaps, patterns, risks and make recommendations.
• Correlate intelligence from multiple sources to develop threat understanding.
• Lead independent analyses and develop subject-specific materials.
• Work with Cyber SOC, Malware, Threat Hunting and Vulnerability teams.
• Prepare and deliver analytical alerts, reports and briefings for stakeholders.
• Generate actionable threat intelligence from diverse data sources.
• Develop understanding of cyber risks facing policing domains.
