Blend your GRC and SOC experience to make an immediate impact.
You're going to be coming into a dual faceted role, primarily focused on SOC tasks but whenever there's anything relating to GRC, you'll be called into action to work on those specific tasks. You'll be working directly with the InfoSec Manager where no two days will be the same. If you're looking for variety in your day-to-day, you've come to the right place.
A typical day will involve vulnerability analysis, incident response and investigation, constantly keeping an eye on system integrity and ensuring confidential information is secured. You'll be exposed to all areas of the business and encouraged to seek out issues and solve them before they become an incident.
In terms of your experience, you'll need to come from a background in SOC with demonstrable experience of Incident Response and Investigations. Doing this using Excel/PowerBI and/or Python would be a huge plus. The more skills here, the better. Additional experience with GRC fundamentals, like ISO27001 or NIST frameworks would be the cherry on the top here.
You'll be joining a commodities business who have been growing consistently in the past few years. The team are extremely collaborative and supportive and work a 3 day in office week as standard. You'll essentially be the number two in the team. Additional experience in and understanding of a commodities environment would be great, but if not, experience in a regulated financial environment will be essential.
Starting salary will be up to £75,000 plus benefits.
