Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage is seeking a Cyber Security professional to join our Digital Security Operation Team. You will help define and execute cybersecurity technologies and procedures to mitigate current and emerging threats in our dynamic international environment.

You will maintain security products (EDR, multi‑antivirus, email sandboxing), lead vulnerability management end‑to‑end, support Sec DevOps and secure development automation, and drive threat modeling to improve

Qualifications

• Experience in security architecture and risk analysis.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling to identify architectural risks.
• Experience managing enterprise security solutions (EDR, email threat protection).
• Ability to design and oversee an enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management program using Tenable.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain UK SC Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.

LOCATION: Stevenage (with some hybrid working available subject to our Hybrid Working Policy)

Join our Digital Security Operation Team and be at the forefront of developing the next generation of defense systems.

You will play a crucial role in defining and executing Cybersecurity Technologies and Procedures to mitigate both short and long-term threats and risks within our dynamic, international environment.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

• You will maintain and manage security products, including EDR, multi-antivirus solutions, and email sandboxing tools.
• You will support Sec Dev Ops and secure development automation initiatives. You will define and implement a company-wide threat modeling framework to ensure consistent risk assessment across all business units.
• You will lead the end‑to‑end Vulnerability Management lifecycle, including risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and scan policy optimization.
• You will support security incident and request management, including authorizing policies, firewall rules, and access controls.

About You

• Experience in security architecture, risk analysis, and security countermeasures.
• Experience managing advanced security solutions, including EDR and email threat protection tools.
• Proven expertise in performing threat modeling to identify and mitigate architectural security risks.
• Experience designing and overseeing an enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management Program using Tenable.
