Cyber Security Project Manager - Financial Services - Milton Keynes

On behalf of our leading financial services client we are looking for a personable and experienced project manager who has a recent track record of delivering cyber security projects, ideally within a financial services environment. Our client are at the start of a multi year technology modernisation programme which includes a large security resilience workstream. This Project Manager will support the Cyber Programme Manager and internal SME's on delivering IT cyber security change projects that span infrastructure, cloud, audit and regulations. The client are medium sized and won't be as mature from as a large retail or investment bank for example, so they need someone who can operate in this type of environment and may have experience of setting up this type of function from scratch. Strong stakeholder and vendor management is essential and they need someone who is personable and dynamic in approach. This role requires travel to both Milton Keynes and London and could be a multi year assignment.

Essential Experience:

• - strong business facing IT Project Manager
• - must have extensive cyber security delivery experience
• - will ideally have financial services / insurance experience
• - ideally this person will have worked in medium sized / lower maturity environments too
• - comfortable working on projects both on the technology side but also the infosec / audit / regulatory side too
• - Ideally have worked with a CISO or within a CISO function previously
• - must have very strong stakeholder and vendor management
• - this role will require weekly travel (2 days p/w) in Milton Keynes and some travel to London
