What you’ll be doing
- Provide technical support, resolving escalated technical support issues across the lines of business to ensure systems availability to the customer.
- Support the timely delivery of IT Provision, Incident handling, Service Requests, and Change Management by the team to the published SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide technical support in the delivery of the services offered by the team and contribute to service productivity to achieve targets.
- Provide Line Manager early sight of issues and concerns that could impact Systems Engineering objectives, and effectively manage escalations.
- Support operational elements on transformational opportunities to meet Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Technology objectives and influence business adoption of recommendations.
- Practice Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology daily to identify waste and drive improvements.
- Provide analytical and innovative input to projects and operational issues, and support negotiations.
The skills you'll need
- Good understanding of Cyber Security Principles.
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) security tooling (CrowdStrike).
- Experience with Network Detection and Response (NDR) security tooling.
- Understanding of the Mitre Attack framework.
- Good understanding of networks and protocols.
- Windows server knowledge.
- Linux server knowledge including containers.
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) understanding.
- Willingness to work occasionally out of hours and provide 24x7x365 callout cover.
- Ability to identify opportunities for collaborative approaches and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder management skills, capable of effective collaboration and negotiation across complex relationships.
