Job summary

NHS England is seeking an analyst to join the Protective Monitoring team within CSOC. You will perform first line alert triage using cybersecurity monitoring tools, evaluate alerts, and communicate findings to external healthcare organisations and internal stakeholders.

You will have access to extensive monitoring tooling across networks, cloud, and endpoints, with opportunities to automate detection and improve overall cyber resilience within the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Join the Analyst Pool within the Protective Monitoring team in the CSOC and perform first line alert triage from cybersecurity monitoring tooling.
• Evaluate and investigate alerts before reaching a conclusion to supply back to relevant external healthcare organisations or internal stakeholders.
• Develop or use cybersecurity tooling to automate and refine systems to improve detection rates by creating new detection rules.
• Support other CSOC areas in assessing alerts and ensuring escalation and remediation by affected organisations.
