The Role

Seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst with early-stage experience to join our central cyber security team. The role involves supporting cyber risk management and operational security initiatives across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Support risk analysis, security policy implementation, and the Secure by Design framework across OT and IT.
• Assist in incident response testing, data management, and coordination with security teams.
• Develop cyber security awareness materials, manage phishing protection, and handle threat intelligence.
• Support security integration into DevOps and cloud-based tools.
• Contribute to risk mitigation strategies for business development and change projects.
• Participate in incident response within VPI’s cyber security framework.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in cyber security roles.
• Educational or workplace experience in cyber security operations.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Desirable Qualifications

• Basic Cyber Security certifications or badges.
• HND/Degree in a relevant field.
• Understanding of energy sector technology principles (beneficial but not essential).
