We are committed to providing secure and reliable digital services that support clinical and non‑clinical operations across the organisation. Our Digital Services team plays a key role in maintaining and developing Cyber Security services, helping to protect the systems, data and infrastructure used by more than 2,000 staff across the Board.
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Cyber Security Officer to join our Digital Services team. Reporting to the Cyber Operations Manager, you will help maintain and develop the cyber security infrastructure that protects our organisation's systems, data and services.
You will be involved in monitoring, maintaining and improving a range of security technologies, including anti-virus solutions, firewalls, internet filtering, vulnerability management, endpoint protection and secure remote access systems. The role will also support cyber incident response, security audits, compliance activities and the delivery of new security initiatives.
Working closely with colleagues across Digital Services and wider NHS Scotland networks, you will contribute to the development of security policies, provide technical guidance and help ensure our systems remain secure, resilient and compliant with recognised industry standards.

You will have significant experience working within a Cyber Security or IT environment and be educated to degree level in a relevant Cyber Security Qualification.
