Job summary

Cyber Security training courses in Huddersfield is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to help develop and deliver a cyber strategy. This on-site, permanent role requires hands-on security expertise and leadership to guide software delivery teams and managed providers.

You will grow the cyber team, enhance cloud security across AWS (Azure knowledge helpful), and drive GRC activities with senior stakeholders. A strategic thinker with practical security skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cybersecurity leadership role or strategic cyber role.
• Hands-on understanding of commonplace cyber tools to face MSSPs and internal teams.
• Cloud security knowledge with AWS as priority; Azure helpful.
• GRC frameworks, policy development understandings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders up to board level.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop and mature the overall cyber security strategy.
• Grow out the cyber team in line with strategy and priorities.
• Enhance the cloud security strategy for AWS and Azure.
• Advise across software development, infrastructure, networks, data analysis and cloud on cyber best practices.
• Coordinate with managed security providers and third-party vendors.
• Oversee MSSP alerts and implement measures after pentests.
• Articulate what good cyber looks like to stakeholders.
