Job Description:

In this role, you will lead various cyber projects and oversee the detection, analysis, and response to cyber threats across the organisation’s systems. You will investigate incidents, leverage threat intelligence, and implement improvements to enhance security. We seek a generalist capable of taking ownership across multiple areas of Cybersecurity.

This role primarily acts as a 'first line of defence' but also extends to second- and third-line security functions. You will provide hands-on support, technical administration, and operational security expertise to strengthen the firm's security posture.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support security incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Deploy, manage, and improve security tools such as vulnerability management, identity management, and attack surface monitoring.
• Analyse emerging threats and vulnerabilities, using threat intelligence to mitigate risks proactively.
• Perform proactive threat hunting, research, and analysis, providing actionable intelligence to IT and security teams.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with software and service vendors to manage security products and solutions.
• Engage in ongoing security training and certifications relevant to the role.

Travel: 3 days a week in Central London Office
