Job summary

The University of Bath is seeking an academic with a strong record in cyber security to join the Department of Computer Science as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader. You will contribute to high-quality teaching and publish widely to advance research in cyber security.

You will lead research initiatives, engage in grant applications and help shape the Cyber Security, Safety and Governance group while collaborating with AI, ML, HCI and other subject areas across the university.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline with UG/PG teaching experience.
• First degree or equivalent, and desirable professional teaching qualification(s).
• Evidence of strong research activity and publication record.

Responsibilities

• Lead research development and publication in cyber security and related areas.
• Design and deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Support departmental operations, ethics, recruitment and student placements.
