The Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath invites applications for Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader in Cyber Security. Starting from £58,225, rising to £67,468, the role involves leading teaching, contributing to research, and developing the new Cyber Security, Safety and Governance research group.

We seek candidates with strong track records in cyber security, capable of collaborating across groups and with external partners.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with a first degree or equivalent experience.
• Membership of a professional body and a higher education teaching qualification (e.g. PGCert, FHEA) are desirable.
• Candidates should demonstrate substantial research experience and an established profile with funding success (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader).
• Strong teaching experience at UG/PG levels and ability to lead research and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of teaching for lectures, tutorials, and labs across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Develop and publish research papers; apply for research funding to support ideas.
• Shape the Cyber Security, Safety and Governance group and build collaborations across UNIs and industry.
