Job summary

Natural Resources Wales is seeking a Cyber Analyst to protect digital services, information and users across NRW’s multi-site, hybrid environment. You will investigate incidents, respond to alerts, and support remediation while aligning with the DDaT security function.

You'll use Microsoft Defender/ATP, collaborate with ICT Service Desk and infrastructure teams, and contribute to cyber resilience, incident response and security process improvements.

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation with ITIL environment experience.
• Degree in ICT or equivalent.
• Experience with security tools and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for incidents and requests within the team's scope.
• Use Defender/ATP to investigate and resolve security incidents.
• Collaborate with the ICT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to develop a robust problem management approach.
• Support incident response activities and contribute to security improvements.
