Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer Lead for a 6‑month contract. You will deliver complex cyber security engineering initiatives across enterprise environments, hands‑on across security operations, cloud security and threat detection.

This role requires technical leadership and close collaboration with architects and stakeholders. The position is inside IR35, onsite up to two times per month, and offers the chance to influence tooling, frameworks and security

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering complex cyber security engineering initiatives.
• Experience with AWS/Azure security, cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/EDR/DLP and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance security capabilities across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Lead and guide wider teams on security tooling, frameworks and processes.
• Collaborate with architects, infra teams and suppliers to deliver project outcomes.
• Support incident response, threat hunting and DevSecOps initiatives.
