Job Title : Cyber Security Engineer

Remuneration : Up to £46,

Responsibilities :

• Monitor for security breaches, intrusions, and unauthorised activities
• Evaluate and test security solutions
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address cybersecurity concerns and provide recommendations
• Produce reports for technical and non-technical audiences
• Assist with internal and external cybersecurity audits
• Review and enhance security policies and develop best practises
• Stay informed about the latest security trends and technological advancements
• Resolve vulnerabilities in a timely manner and ensure system patching
• Analyse and resolve incidents escalated by support teams
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to understand the impact of security updates
• Work outside of core hours as required
• Collaborate with audit teams to address queries
• Drive and implement enhancements for Office secure scores
• Mitigate network vulnerabilities and perform penetration testing
• Familiarity with Entra, Azure, Tenable.io, Fortinet Firewalls, and Rapid7
