Job summary

HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a fixed 12-month contract, open to EMEA-based candidates. You will protect the global enterprise IT environment, implementing security controls across cloud, networks, endpoints, IAM and collaboration platforms.

You will lead vulnerability management, security assessments, and incident response, collaborating with legal, HR and operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security professional focused on protecting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience designing and implementing security controls across cloud, networks, endpoints, IAM and collaboration tools.
• Ability to lead security assessments, remediation and incident response in a manufacturing/engineering context.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vulnerability management, ensure scans run on schedule and report to stakeholders.
• Lead security assessments for new infrastructure, cloud and on-premise designs.
• Coordinate incident response and post-incident reviews for security events and data breaches.
• Contribute to security architecture and technology roadmaps, promote security best practices.
• Prepare security reports for management and participate in cyber security governance forums.
