Experis UK invites applications from an experienced Cyber Engineering Consultant to drive cyber security across defence products and platforms, including Radar, OT, IT and advanced electronic systems.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering, Product Security, Systems Security, or Information Assurance.
  • Experience supporting MOD accreditation activities and Secure by Design processes (ISN 2023/09).
  • Strong understanding of cyber risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience working beyond traditional enterprise IT environments, including software, firmware, hardware, OT, or embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of secure system design, engineering lifecycles, and cyber security controls.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
  • Degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, or a recognised cyber security certification.

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Engineering Consultant to support the delivery of cyber security across complex defence products and platforms, including Radar, Laser, Operational Technology (OT), Information Technology (IT), and advanced electronic systems.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of UK Defence, collaborating with engineers, architects, and security specialists to ensure security is embedded throughout the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through to deployment and in-service support.

The Role

As a Cyber Engineering Consultant, you will:

  • Deliver cyber security and information assurance activities across complex engineering programmes.
  • Support product teams in implementing secure-by-design principles and MOD security requirements.

What We're Looking For
