We are seeking a highly capable and DV–cleared Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing security team in delivering secure, high–assurance systems across critical environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands–on technical skills in cybersecurity, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively within secure and regulated operational landscapes.
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data by designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across the full life cycle–from architecture to operations.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and manage security technologies, including Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEMs, and endpoint protection
Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis activities
Design and deploy security controls that align with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements
Support secure configuration and hardening of systems, applications, and infrastructure
Monitor and respond to security events and incidents in a timely and effective manner
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and documentation
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security–by–design is Embedded in all phases of delivery
Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
DV Clearance (Developed Vetting) is mandatory
Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, Security Analyst, or similar role in a secure or regulated environment
Strong knowledge of security technologies (eg, Firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, PKI, NAC)
Hands–on experience with network, system, and application security
Proficiency in security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response processes
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (eg, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
Solid understanding of encryption, access control, authentication, and identity management
Strong Scripting or automation skills (eg, Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Excellent problem–solving and communication skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or equivalent
Experience with secure cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security tooling in CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and secure supply chain principles
Background in high–availability, high–integrity or mission–critical system environments
