The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures for our clients, with a particular focus on achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for client systems.
• Lead and support the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation processes, ensuring clients meet the necessary compliance standards.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, including policies, procedures, and technical controls.
• Monitor and manage security tools and systems to detect and respond to threats effectively.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices for securing their IT infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, trends, and regulatory changes to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver holistic IT support and security solutions.
• Conduct security awareness training and workshops for clients and internal teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity within an MSP or IT services environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks, including hands-on experience guiding organisations through the accreditation process.
• Strong understanding of information security standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
