KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets across six continents. Serving diverse customers through various business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are seeking an Engineer with significant experience in Instrumentation and Control system design engineering projects within the Oil & Gas industry (Onshore/Offshore), Petrochemical plants.
- Design and develop Instrumentation and Control systems for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards, including IEC 62443, IEC 61508, and IEC 61511.
- Prepare functional safety deliverables, including SIL Verification and SIL Calculation.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and ensure compliance in functional safety and cybersecurity for control systems.
- Collaborate effectively within diverse teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Integrated control systems, PLC, SCADA systems, from conceptual design through FEED and detailed design.
- Experience with functional safety deliverables in automation projects.
- Hands-on experience with SIL Verification and SIL Calculation.
- Exposure to audit, assessment, and compliance in functional safety and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Norwegian experience is preferred.
