Job summary

QBE Europe is seeking a Cyber Security Consulting Lead to join our London office. You will provide security technology assessments and integration guidance for IT change projects, using a Secure Design Framework based on NIST standards.

The role requires collaboration with Architects and SMEs to identify threats and gaps in controls. You will lead security assurance across IT and business initiatives, aligning security patterns and controls in both cloud and on-prem solutions, and drive risks to

Qualifications

• Experience applying security and risk-based standards (ISO 2700X, ISO 31000, NIST 800, PCI-DSS).
• Ability to identify security weaknesses and drive mitigations through to secure outcomes.
• Experience working across in-house and outsourced service models across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead security assurance, assessments, advisory for IT/Business projects (Cloud and On-prem) against NIST 800-53.
• Partner with security architecture to define security patterns and embed controls in solutions.
• Develop non-functional security requirements and guidance for integration into designs.
• Carry out security risk assessments and provide mitigations for identified risks.
• Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to correct non-compliant processes.
• Contribute to strategic global and regional security projects and deployments.
