Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Consultant to join its Cyber Security consulting team in the UK. You will support maturity assessments, governance reviews and risk-based engagements for diverse clients, under guidance from senior colleagues.

You’ll gather evidence, identify gaps and help craft practical recommendations while learning industry frameworks. You’ll develop skills in policy development, client communications and cross‑functional collaboration within a supportive professional services environment,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in cyber security, information security, tech risk, IT audit, governance or related advisory role.
• Awareness of frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials or similar standards.
• Understanding of access management, incident response, vulnerability management and third‑party risk.
• Degree or equivalent background in cyber security or related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber security maturity assessments and governance reviews under guidance.
• Gather, review and organise client evidence including policies and risk registers.
• Identify cyber risks and control gaps; document observations and recommendations.
• Contribute to policy/procedure development and governance materials.
• Prepare first drafts of client reports, notes and presentations for review.
• Engage in client meetings to capture risks, actions and follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high‑quality delivery for clients.
• Stay aware of evolving cyber security threats and regulatory expectations.
