Job summary

Adepta Partners in Belfast is seeking a cyber risk consultant to join its advisory team. You will assess risk, shape governance, and help clients turn technical findings into practical business actions while supporting transformation programmes across public and private sectors.

You will run workshops, contribute to proposals, and explain complex security concepts to senior stakeholders. A hybrid working pattern and opportunities to access international expertise are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy or advisory roles focusing on cyber risk or information security.
• Hands-on experience conducting cyber risk assessments using recognised frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Ability to translate technical findings into practical business advice for clients.
• Understanding of security governance, policies, controls, and accountability.

• Conduct cyber risk assessments and assurance reviews to identify gaps and prioritise improvements.
• Develop risk frameworks, governance approaches and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Run client workshops and help technical teams and business leaders agree practical actions to reduce risk.
